The atmosphere of the sound piece transports the listener into a past not yet forgotten. Our loud and courageous singing echoes on, in an attempt to preserve the memory, to remember. The fragility of the material itself, prone to deterioration, calls for a constant taking care of its delicate construction and yet, our voices sing without exhaustion!

The three voices of TiSiTi were recorded by Niek Driesschen (Far Out Sound Studio, Rotterdam) in the cathedral of Brutus, directly onto reel-to-reel tape, and then spatially composed into an immersive installation - an ever-changing composition of voice, degrading over time.

Three long tape loops flowed through three tape machines and a number of hooks and chains that MD2 architects, the designers of the exhibition positioned in the dimly-lit space.

A site-specific installation, Moment in Time, was exhibited during Traces We Keep, Wild Summer of Art 2025 at Brutus Rotterdam from 11. 07. 2025 to 23. 08. 2025.
