The 3-hour durational performance A Kind of Light, was a sonic performative response to Jabu Arnell’s installation. Properties of light were used to activate bodies and voices as they relate to liminal spaces in the city.

In line with Jabu’s creative process, the performance evolves experimentally, in an interplay between the space, language and sound. Vocalists use the sculptural installation as a graphic score for their singing, accompanied by a collectively written and printed libretto.
